MEET OUR COACHES

Stephanie Gonzalez is licensed to coach by the United States Soccer Federation and has 12 years of experience. She played soccer at Lehman College where she earned the MVP award as a feshman,  served as a two-year captain & was named a First Team All Star. Coach Steph played in the WPSL, UPSL & UWS League. before founding Train SGS in 2020. She is currently the Head coach for Westchester Hebrew High School Varsity Boys, Westchester Hebrew High School JV Girls, and Blind Brook High School JV Girls soccer teams. She also serves as Goalkeeping Director for New Canaan Football Club travel teams and New Canaan High School Boys and Girls Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams.

Sulayman Jaiteh has been training with Coach Stephanie since he was 11 years old. He's played for Youth United SC since 2018, where he has served as captain for the past 4 years and earned the MVP award twice. He also plays for the New World High School Soccer Team and RealNYFC in the United Premier Soccer League. He became a part of the Train SGS Coach in Training program in 2020. He now leads our Little Kickers and Beginner Classes at the Castle Hill YMCA. He is also the Head Coach for the Youth United Soccer Club U8 team and available for private training. Coach Sulayman is USSF & First Aid certified. 

Saliou Diallo began playing for Youth United Soccer Club in 2021 and immediately joined the Coach In Training Program. He is now the assistant coach for the Youth United Soccer Club U12 team and leads skill training for the U12 players at the Pelton Recreational Program in Yonkers. Coach Saliou has also played for Griffen United SC and Fordham Leadership academy where he earned the Best Player of the Year award for the 2022/2023 season. He will be attending John Jay College of Criminal Justice in Fall 2023 and playing for their Mens Soccer Team. Coach Saliou is USSF certified and available for private training.
